SAP opportunites?

Hello!
Can anyone tell me what industries are in Doha and if they run off SAP?

do they have good packages, etc?

My husband just relocated to doha for his job and would like us to come as well, however, I would need to be set in a job before I could even consider, especially after reading how expensive everything is.

Thanks much!!

True that Jaseem. You gotta be friends. Or, given right circumstances date the HR people to help you out.

No SAP training in Qatar unfortunately. You could possibly train at siemens academy in Saudi Arabia. There is this outfit called NIIT who are trying to start a SAP course as early as late next year. However their SAP tracks will be related to engineering and they will be targetting corporate clients initially.

You are in the wrong place. Unless you've got 3-5 yrs of experience you cannot target the handful of jobs with the petrochem sector. Otherwise, head down to Saudi/Kuwait. The SAP scene is really good on that side of the road.

Hello guys,The old days are gone when you can think of getting a good SAP job in gulf countries. Now a days, you may not even get a call/mail for interview from the recruiter as your resume is rejected by some smart and cunning guys in the same organistion even if you have the relevant SAP certifications and experience. The companies will post the jobs on their websites just as a formality but finally these jobs will be filled with less competent guys who are the relatives/friends of those cunning guys in the same organistion. This is true in the case of companies like Qatar Petroleum etc.So stop dreaming now.
