Hi Azam Kadir,

i am looking for a SAP FICO opportunity in QP. Can you share with me the employement agency name and web address. thanks in advance

Azam...you have been brutally honest. Focus on giving a good technical brief about all the 7 seven rollouts.

Feel free to ask them to explain in detail what their projects and rollouts are like (their expectations). Then tell them how you can/will meet their expectations based on your past experience.

When it comes to the matter of your personal life having an impact on your professional one, say that you have been honest and open about it. And now that the proceedings are over (hopefully), you are all set to just focus on your professional undertakings.

Good luck.

Hi

2 questions:

1. Through employment agency, I will be attending technical interview via teleconference for SAP PP QM job with QP. I am having 14+ years with 7 project & rollout experiences in PP and QM. Anyone has attended past telephone interviews with QP, pls post sorts of questions asked. I recently attended one telephone interview for SAP PP role for a consulting co in Malaysia but not shortlisted - questions asked are mostly related to specific project issues the team is facing and I reckon due to my answers they don't find me fit into their requirements

2. I have also put up reason in the form for reason leaving current job to which I had specified "Terminated due to long (5+months divorce process)". Will there be any impact to my job application in particular to QP or by and large ME companies?

regards

I honestly cannot answer your question as I left QP many years ago.

Personally, I would continue applying for other positions. It's unlikely that much will happen until after Ramadan as things do tend to slow down considerably (if not stop).

Don't lose hope completely as things can take a long time in QP but apply for other jobs too. You may come up with a job that's better then the one in QP.

I have also been interview via phone and still awaiting for the site visit. When I approached the HR rep, he told me everyone is gone on summer vacation. He will get back to me soon. However when I was interviewed by the technical department. The indaviduals interviewing me said that they will send a positive recommendation to the HR team so they will be calling me to the Doha.

Now since I have not had any feedback until I approached them where they told me everyone is on summer vacation and wait till they come back then QP HR will reply. Should I move on and apply other places as I am loosing hope even though I had a very good interview. Please advise and your views and guidance will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Congratulations.

I went out single status originally and was glad that I did.

Work can be hectic when you first arrive and trying to settle into a new job AND settle your family may be twice as hectic.

Choice is yours.

Pleased to hear (it isn't a pun) that things are progressing. I have no idea what they will do but if the hearing problem isn't great I don't think they would withdraw the offer.

Good luck

Dear Dweller

thanks for your support I got the offer letter and some forms to fill and return from HR section but also i got one mail from QP medical center ask me to perform a new Audiogram test as my result in their center showing a change in hearing level so i send them the new audiogram by mail showing every thing normal Except a slight change in high noise hearing zone, i work in power plants for more than 12 years (power plant is high noise sites ) so it's good to have this result. actully i do not know what they will do??

your opinion ??

doesn't exist anywhere else in the world nobody in the world will have experience so you stand as much chance as anybody else.

What do you think about that

By edfeeoc• 6 Jun 2010 01:15

I was interviewed for Senior shift supervisor job but the system they have is not exist else where in the world so in their requriments they require shift supervisor in large utilities even it's not the same like the one they have from this point the interview was not good cause we do not have the same background ( me and the interviewer ) so i think the interviewer evaluation will be negative.

been "involved" for a number of years I am unable to comment on the time frames in which they work.

It's probably a case (as superman09 said) of waiting for the offer.

the interviewing department will endorse their evaluation about you to HR. If positive, HR will send you offer letter.. after you have accepted and agreed the offer, you need to wait 2-3 months (sometimes longer than this period) for visa processing and wait for your schedule of mobiization.

I already go for the interview on 30/5/2010 in Ras Laffan

for one day just for about 30 mintues (very short) next day medical check it took about 4 hours then HR about one hour and the HR supervisor said he did not recive technical interview result so he can not decide the basic salary so i leave Qatar next day and still waiting

Dweller your opinion ??

That is my opinion.

It sounds that you say that the phone interview was enough for them and the 2 days visit is just to finalize the offer and medical check !!

Thanks again dweller

If you have been invited for interview in Doha, it's likely (in my opinion) that you will be made an offer.

The two days will allow enough time for you to undergo a medical, meet other staff/management, have a look around Doha, at housing available etc.

Good luck.
