Hi All,

How long it took you to get first job in Qatar?
Did you try from outside or inside Qatar?
Did you search through online or went through any recruitment agencies?

I hope your answers will help others to search or expect from job.

i had 3 to 4 interview and got the job but thank god i didnt accept them cos i would never work for any badoo even if u are smart and in civilized countries you can work hard and you can get to the top of ladder but here people work for 20 years but still at the same place and tere is always a badoo on ur top just becasue he was born a badoo no matter if he know shit or not..

if u know someone who knows someone u can get a job if ur asian or eatern countries then forget it, i dont consider westerner who get a job here in 1 or 2 days to be extraordinary cos here its the passport that counts not ones experience..

world is open forget qatar

I came here winter season, so i decided to feel the season first yet my first tym to be away from my family, then it took me just a month to have a job,but transfering to another have given me chance to be with the best company that im in,but it was so different, applying thru door-to-door was not that good enough, but posting in gulf times was the best.so goodluck to those who are new.

As soon as I have decided to relocate to Qatar, within 2 weeks God sent me a man literally out of nowhere, who happened to be an owner of the big company in the Middle East and Gulf, with one of the branches in Qatar. He just said to me “yallah, come over here”, and sent me a ticket.. no kidding… I don’t work for this company anymore, but I am grateful to this man for turning my wish into reality.. so fast and easy.. :)
