Quest Esports appoints Faisal Khalid as its new Chairman

Faisal is no stranger to Qatar’s digital sports landscape. A well-recognized figure in the esports world, Faisal Khalid was a founding member and the first Secretary General of the Qatari Esports Federation.
He currently serves as a member of the International Relations & Development Committee at the Global Esports Federation. With his new role at Quest, Faisal aims to build on work he helped start in the public sector — this time from a private platform designed to move swiftly, compete globally, and deliver real value for local and regional stakeholders.
Faisal’s appointment signals more than a leadership change — it reflects Quest Esports’ growing role as a driving force behind Qatar’s esports ambitions. As Chairman, Faisal steps into a position that allows him to carry forward the work he helped initiate at the national level, this time through a bold, fast-moving private platform with regional reach and global ambitions.
