Wissam Al Mana and Janet Jackson become proud parents to Eissa

Qatari Wissam Al Mana and American pop star Janet Jackson have become the proud parents of a baby boy named Eissa, according to their publicist.

It is Janet jackson’s first child, at the age of 50.

“Janet Jackson and husband Wissam Al Mana are thrilled to welcome their new son Eissa Al Mana into the world,” the singer's representative said in a statement.

“Janet had a stress-free, healthy delivery and is resting comfortably,” the statement added.

Qatari businessman Al Mana married Janet Jackson in 2012. Rumours had spread about her pregnancy when Janet Jackson postponed her Unbreakable world tour in April. In October, she showed off her baby bump in an exclusive photo for People magazine.

Jackson, the youngest child of the famed Jackson singing family, has not given any details about where the baby was born.
