WATCH: One in five adults in Qatar received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine: MoPH

As Qatar continues to accelerate the pace of its National COVID-19 Vaccination Program, the country has been trying to make it easier for eligible people to take the COVID-19 vaccine.
After the introduction of a temporary vaccination center at Qatar National Convention Center (QNCC), a drive-through vaccination facility in Lusail, the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) yesterday opened the second drive-through vaccination center in Al Wakra.
With the availability of these venues in addition to the PHCC health centers, more and more eligible citizens and residents are able to get the COVID-19 vaccines.
In a weekly update, issued yesterday, MoPH highlighted that 21.9 percent of Qatar's total population (16 years and above) has gotten at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
In the last seven days, as many as 145,696 doses of the vaccine were administered to citizens and residents of Qatar eligible to receive the vaccine.
A total of 740,309 vaccine doses have been given until now under the country’s National COVID-19 Vaccination Program.
The infographic further mentions that one in five adults in the country has received at least one dose of the vaccine.
As the country had been urging the elderly to get vaccinated against the virus since the start of the vaccination campaign, 71.6 percent of people above 80 years, 72 percent of people over 70 years and 71.6 percent of people above 60 have received at least one shot of the vaccine until now.
The Ministry is also collecting feedback regarding side effects, if any, faced by individuals who have taken the COVID-19 vaccine.
Individuals wishing to share feedback can do so by clicking on the ‘COVID-19 Vaccination Feedback’ section on the Ministry's website.
The Ministry stressed the importance of feedback as it will allow health authorities to record and monitor any symptoms people have.

Molten Metal: Did you take your shot of the vaccination? If you have already done so, then good. Did you take it in your arm or on your butt? Which is better? I believe you will be unable to get vaccinated 3 times.
