Al Wakrah Stadium embodies a futuristic and bold design with a capacity of 40,000. It will host the 2022 FIFA World Cup quarterfinals and is a perfect reflection of the country’s innovative and ambitious spirit.
Earlier in March this year, SC announced that the stadium’s grass turf was laid in record time. Completed in just 9 hours and 15 minutes, the turf-laying of the stadium set a new world-record by being the fastest ever in history.
