Three more health centers to start offering COVID-19 vaccination

As Qatar successfully continues the first phase of its COVID-19 vaccination campaign, three more health centers will begin administering the COVID-19 vaccine to eligible individuals during the campaign's first phase.
This was announced at a press conference organized by The Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) today.
These include: the Qatar University, Al Waab and Al Khor health centers.

The three centers will be in addition to the seven centers (Al Wajbah, Leabaib, Al Ruwais, Umm Salal, Rawdat Al Khail, Al Thumama and Muaither) already administering the COVID-19 vaccine in Qatar.
Qatar kicked off the first phase of the largest vaccination drive in the country's history on December 23, 2020.
Until now, 10 percent of the target group in the first phase has already been vaccinated, the PHCC officials announced today.
Vaccinations at the health centers are only being administered to those who have pre-arranged appointments.
All community members who do not fall under the priority groups have been asked to wait until it is their turn.
Everyone who needs to be vaccinated will be able to do so throughout the year, the Ministry of Public Health had announced earlier.
