Strong winds and dusty weather to hit Qatar again
Strong dust winds the country has been experiencing over the past three days subsided Thursday, but is expected to hit again today, according to the Meteorology Department.
Northwesterly to northeasterly winds would blow at moderate speed and the weather would be relatively humid in eastern parts.
The country could experience strong northwesterly winds again today and on Saturday with speeds ranging from 10-20 to 25 knots at places and can cause low visibility in some areas.
From Sunday to Tuesday, wind speed would drop. Easterly winds would cause an increase in relative humidity.
"The weather during this period will be hot during the day and relatively humid by night with haze to misty at places," said a report issued by the department.
Temperature in Doha is expected to be between 32 and 42 degrees Celsius today.
