Sheikh Abdullah accuses Saudi and UAE of using Gulf crisis to seize Qatari wealth

A member of the Qatari royal family, who was allegedly held against his will in the United Arab Emirates, has accused Saudi Arabia and the UAE of orchestrating a months-long Gulf crisis in order to seize Qatar's wealth, and threatened to commit suicide, reported Al Jazeera.

The controversial royal family member — Sheikh Abdullah bin Ali Al Thani — had previously been portrayed by the Saudis and the Emiratis as the main opposition figure to the Qatari government amid the major diplomatic dispute, according to Gulf Times.

In an audio recording from January 15 obtained by Al Jazeera, Sheikh Abdullah said he was put under ‘tremendous pressures’ which led him to decide to ‘put an end to his life,’ according to The Peninsula.

On January 14, Sheikh Abdullah had released a video statement, saying he was a ‘prisoner’ in the UAE, and that if anything happened to him, ‘Sheikh Mohammed’ is responsible. While he did not specify who it was, Sheikh Abdullah appeared to be referring to Abu Dhabi's crown prince.

“Today is January 15. I decided to end my life as I was put under tremendous pressure. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed won’t allow me to travel and he’s detaining me and not letting me go back to my country (Qatar) and my two daughters. Due to the pressures on me, my confinement, and inability to return home or join my family, I’ve decided to end my life to prevent any harm to others. I can't bear to see any harm done to my beloved ones just because someone, who has power, wants to do so,” Sheikh Abdullah was quoted as saying in the message, according to Qatar Tribune.

“The Gulf crisis is based on interests and the desire of both Mohammed bin Zayed and Mohammed bin Salman to usurp the wealth and riches of Qatar,” he added.
“I urge my fellow Qatari brothers to hold on to the position you’ve... And be careful of being deceived by money to destroy your own country. They had put me under great pressure to do so... My fellow brothers in the GCC countries: Please don't fight over unimportant issues, you’re all brothers,” he said.

Prophet has forbidden a war between Muslims. Muslims-who-fight-each-other-will-both-be-in-hell. Even carrying a weapon against another Muslim is Forbidden in Islam. Fighting between Muslims is not Jihad. It is cowardice and an act due to Ignorance.I remind all of you to a saying of our Prophet with warning that both the Killer Muslim and Killed Muslim will both be in hell for fighting each other with weapons.(Ref: Bukhari - Volume 9, Book 88, Number 204)

Abu Bakra Narrates: I heard Allah's Messenger (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) saying, "If two Muslims meet each other with their weapons then the killer and the killed are are both bound for the (Hell) Fire." I said, "O Allah's Messenger (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) It is alright for the killer, but what about the killed one?" Prophet said, “Because the killed one intended to kill just as much as the killer."” [Bukhari & Muslim]

Well said....

All are Brothers ...whether Irani, Saudi, Yemeni, Emarati, Qatari, Bahraini, Omani, Kuwaiti, Iraqi, Afghani....

Nobody have right to kill innocent..

Fear Allah...

Love your brother for Allah...Whether he is Shia or Sunni..He is your brother ...His Prophet is Muhammed and his God is Allah.

By Allah, current disputes and war will bring disaster only...nothing Good.

We never existed before 100 years nor will exist after 100 years. If you consider that you sleep 8 hours a day, it is one third of the day and calculation for the whole life it will be one third of a person’s age. Hence there is no time to waste time in vain talks and disputes. Help the poor and do good to your parents and be thankful to God, He gave you free, the air you breathe, the water you drink, fruits and vegetables, most importantly your Life for free. Our life is a continuous exam until we meet God and it is when he will question you for your time, youth , money , actions etc . People reject God but can they escape Death? . Don’t forget you are nearing your death every second.

All Mankind have a common origin..a same father and same mother. If people realize this people will love each other never fight each other.
