Riot of colours as flower exhibition opens at Al Dhakera Yard
If you are free today, it might be worth your while to visit the Al Dhakera Yard as a flower exhibition has opened at the premises.
Six local farms are taking part in the exhibition organised by the Agricultural Affairs Department of the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME)
The three-day exhibition, which opened on Thursday, will run until Saturday.
Yousef Al Khulaifi, Director of Agricultural Affairs Department, said such exhibitions were important in promoting local produce like honey and flowers among citizens, reported Qatar Tribune.
This is the second such event after the one held at the Al Mazrouah Yard a few weeks ago. Another one is expected to be held at the Al Wakrah yard in March.
The MME is also planning to organise a honey exhibition at Al Mazrouah Yard next week.
