Residents of Qatar can now apply for family visit visas online
In a new move, Qatar’s Ministry of Interior (MoI) has made it easier for Qatari residents to apply for family visit visas.
They can now do it online via the MoI’s website or Metrash2 service, reported Qatar Tribune.
The move is a part of the MoI’s efforts to boost e-services for the public.
Brigadier General Mohamed Ahmed Al Ateeq, Director General of Passports, said the new service would ask to the various e-services provided by MoI, represented by the General Directorate of Passports.
“This important step is aimed at changing the application of family visit visas from the paper system to electronic system through the services of the MoI,” he said.
“The applicant can upload all required documents in the allocated boxes. The user can then track the status of requests and query and pay the fees electronically through the same application,” added Al Ateeq.
He said applicants can apply through Metrash2 by choosing the services of MoI and submitting requests for family visit electronically. The applicant can fill required data and then attach documents supporting the request to the system from any place.
In the event of any deficiencies in the documents or the attached picture, the applicant is immediately alerted to rectify the error.
He said the electronic service can be used to apply for family visas including for father, mother, wife, children or relatives.
It’s good move but I tried applying visa it successfully got submitted (for my wife and 2 children boy and girl )and it gave me application number n I checked the status it was showing as under process. But next day without giving reason the application is cancelled for my wife and my daughter for boy visa Approved.
so wht i can do next

In Metrash2 there is option for family visa. I want to apply visit visa for my wife. Can any body tells me how i can apply.. i applied one time aftr 1 day i checked it was cancelled..

i tried applying but as "Baig7285" mentioned i have the same problem,
i can submit the application after uploading marriage certificate and passport copy of my wife and i get a email saying my application is under process and then the next day the application is cancelled.
they only have places to upload marriage certificate and passport, they do not ask for NOC or work contract or any other document which i think is a bit odd,
any ways if any one has been successful please do let me know

Appreciable...but if it is tte move to make as a part of the MoI’s efforts to boost e-services for the public, why do not you concentrate to add english language as the optional(only Arabic is available) .As its acceptable only the person who known the language Arabic
