SeeMyCulture is inviting you to the Qatari Kitchen Fundraising Event, 9pm onwards on the 10th of July at Katara Art Center (Building 5).

Join us for an evening of Cultural Exchange and Ramadan festivities.

100% of the proceeds from this evening will go towards a fund for those that need it.

During this Holy Month and on Eid days, we would like to reach out to those who are here alone, away from their families like the low income migrant workers.

We would like to Make Their Day with international calls to home, coupons and eid gifts etc. A simple act of kindness can really Make Their Day.

We also invite you after the event to come with us and see the difference your donations have made. You can sign up at the event.

What's Happening:

- Bring your children along as Maktaba Qatar will be hosting a children's story time, and also arts and crafts throughout the evening from 8:30pm
until 10pm.

- Traditional homemade food will be served by a Qatari chef by the name of Ayon AlMaha. She also takes orders, there is nothing quite like the taste of homemade food.

- A Photo Booth will be set up by a Qatari group called Qomra Qtr, you can get your photos taken wearing Qatariand traditional clothing, or in a garangaou setup.

- Reach Out To Asia is our chosen charity, and they have kindly accepted that all donations are to make a difference withinQatar.

- A film "Um Rashed" will be shown by 2 Qatari filmmakers Sarah Al Derham and Jassim Al Thani, they first ever screened it at our last event, and it was loved by all.

“Um Rashed” The cultural struggle against modernity. A character sketch of a Bedouin woman in Qatar. This observational documentary attempts to follow Um Rashed as she gives viewers a humorous exclusive look inside her life.

- Henna, Calligraphy, and a few local Qatari shops will be selling their
products from food to trinkets.

Children, friends and family all welcome!
