Qatar Petroleum announces fuel prices for July 2020

Qatar Petroleum (QP) today issued the latest price list for all kinds of fuel in Qatar.

After a sharp drop in prices between the months of March, April, and May this year, with no change in fuel prices in June, next month will see a prominent increase in fuel prices in Qatar.

Effective from tomorrow, July 1, 2020, one liter of Premium Gasoline will be available for QR 1.10, marking a difference of 10 dirhams from its price in June.

Super Gasoline can be purchased for QR 1.20 per liter. This is 15 dirhams up from its June price.

The price of diesel will go up by five dirhams from QR 1.05 in June to QR 1.10 in July 2020.

Fuel prices in the last couple of months had been on a downward spiral and were one of the lowest Qatar had witnessed in recent years. However, this trend has been broken by the price announcement for July 2020.

Earlier, in February this year, the price of diesel was decreased for the first time since September 2019. 

QP has been announcing the monthly fuel price list since September 2017.
