The Qatar National Day (QND) is almost upon us.

One of the salient features of the QND is the proud parade undertaken by different wings of the Qatari Armed Forces as well as other defence officials.

The organisers have announced that this year’s National Day Parade will go down the Doha Corncihe starting at 3pm on Monday, December 18, according to Gulf Times.

Earlier in the week, the Doha Corniche had been shut down for a few hours to have a full dress rehearsal of the parade.

If you have not been to the National Day Parade before, it is a great sight to behold. But be warned that the area will be filled with patriotic citizens and may run out of space quite soon. So it is always better to be there a little early.

Also be warned that traffic to the area will be heavily controlled. So it is always better to leave your car far away and walk to the venue. The organisers have requested people to be at the venue as early as 12 noon in order to avoid traffic congestion.

Happy Qatar National Day to you.
