Qatar to get the Middle East’s first Angry Birds theme park
Doha Festival City will open Angry Bird World, a theme park, as part of their Family Entertainment Complex.
Scheduled to open in 2017, Angry Birds World will mark a significant milestone for Doha as the first Angry Birds theme park to open in the Middle East.
Featuring over 35 state-of-the-art attractions with dedicated indoor and outdoor spaces, visitors will have the opportunity to play and engage with the Angry Birds characters as they journey through the new theme park.
Doha Festival City, in partnership with Talal Bin Mohammed Trading and ADabisc, hosted a screening of the Angry Birds Movie at NOVO cinema in The Pearl-Qatar ahead of the worldwide release on May 12.
The exclusive screening marked the start of an exciting countdown to the opening of Qatar’s very own Angry Birds World.
“With over 38,000sqm of space across four world class theme parks, including Angry Birds World, the Family Entertainment Complex at Doha Festivals City is sure to be one of the leading attractions in Doha, reflecting our commitment to entertainment and we look forward to welcoming Qatar residents and visitors alike from 2017,” said Doha Festival City General Manager Trevor Hill.
The Family Entertainment Complex is also home to the unique Snow Dunes, Juniverse and Virtuocity theme parks.
Snow Dunes will be Qatar’s first indoor snow experience, offering thrilling rides within a visually stunning -2°C environment.
Juniverse, a space-themed family edutainment park will offer state-of-the-art role-playing experience for children.
Virtuocity will be a gaming theme park, incorporating a world-first 200 seat e-sport gaming arena, console lounges, and bespoke motorsport and aviation simulators.

I can't understand why the birds are angry. Don't they give them food and water, or is the residence permit the problem? The birds should be happy to be in Qatar.
I will the first person to enter the park on the inaugurational day ..........
We wait eagerly for it to open and bring joy to the public
