Qatar Duty Free opens two new restaurants at Hamad International Airport
Choices of eateries for people who are travelling to different parts of the world from the Hamad International Airport (HIA) have just gotten bigger.
Qatar Duty Free (QDF), in partnership with HMSHost International, announced the launch of two new restaurants — Burger Federation and Spizzico — in HIA’s North Node, according to Gulf Times.
Burger Federation, which is a casual dining concept, serves burgers that have been reinvented as contemporary gourmet cuisine. HMSHost has answered customers’ demand for high-quality meat, thus serving both locally and internationally-inspired burgers made from premium angus beef and the finest fresh toppings, according to an official Press release by Qatar Airways.
Guests will also be welcomed at Spizzico, a quick-service, contemporary bread and pizza bakery offering a wide assortment of gourmet pizzas, freshly baked paninis, pastries and salads.
“QDF is delighted to enhance its portfolio of quality eateries inside HIA with the addition of these two wonderful new restaurants. We invite travellers to try Burger Federation and Spizzico as well as the more than 30 restaurants and grab-and-go-style establishments offering an extensive selection of cuisine from all corners of the globe,” The Peninsula quoted QDF Senior Vice President Luis Gasset as saying.
“After opening Doha’s first Harvest Market restaurant in HIA in January, we’re thrilled to announce the opening of two more restaurants that’ll appeal to hungry travellers. This partnership really enables us to grow our footprint worldwide with our mixed brand portfolio,” said HMSHost International CEO Walter Seib.
