Qatar Airways allows flexibility to change travel plans

Qatar has been working to the best of its capabilities to ensure the good health and safety of its citizens and residents in current times.
As the country continues to combat the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), under the instructions of the Qatar Government, entry to the State of Qatar is allowed only for Qatari nationals from March 16, who will be required to enter quarantine for a period of 14 days.
Passport holders of other countries will no longer be granted entry to Qatar for a period of 14 days (from March 16), after which the restrictions will be reviewed.
Passengers from all destinations served by Qatar Airways can still travel with the airline and transit through Hamad International Airport, subject to entry restrictions at their final destination.
Affected passengers can re-book their tickets to an alternative date or destinations or opt to receive a voucher for future travel. The voucher will be valid for one year from the issuance date.
Qatar Airways aims to deal with all passenger requests in a timely manner. Customers are requested to visit ‘Manage Booking’ on qatarairways.com and ensure contact numbers and email address are up to date which will help the airline forwarding the travel vouchers in case of flight cancellation.
The airline has requested the customers that if the flight is more than four days in the future, to please consider calling them at a later time.

Anyone who has booked tickets through a travel agent, Qatar Airways advises to contact the travel agent and amend the date or exchange your ticket for a future travel voucher.
If you have already booked or had plan to book for travel up to September 30, 2020, receive greater flexibility up to 3 days prior to departure by having the option to change your travel date free of charge, or exchange for a future travel voucher. This also includes award flights.
Currently, Qatar Airways operates more than 150 flights per day so that as many people as possible can get home safely to their loved ones.
We know that many of you are cutting trips short to return home to your families at this difficult time, and our highest priority is to help you find a way back to your loved ones. Our flights can take you there. #QatarAirways pic.twitter.com/Uydp17BMwR
