Price of petrol, diesel to go up this December

Petrol and diesel prices will increase from tomorrow, 1st December, according to Qatar Petroleum's new price list announcement.

Premium grade petrol price will go up by 10 dirhams and will cost 1.75 QAR per litre in December compared to 1.65 QAR last month.

Super grade will cost 5 dirhams more at 1.80 QAR per litre. It was 1.75 QAR in November.

The price of diesel will be 5 dirhams costlier in December, at 1.70 QAR per litre as compared to 1.65 QAR in November.

This is the highest ever price for petrol after the Ministry started pegging the fuel prices to the international market.

In November the petrol prices had gone up by 5 dirhams and diesel by 10 dirhams.

From April 2016, the Ministry of Energy and Industry had started pegging the fuel prices to the international market, according to a report by The Peninsula.

From September, Qatar Petroleum has been responsible for announcing the monthly price list.

that's a 30dhs increase from the past year, on avg. they're increasing 2.5dhs every month. They need money!!
