PHCC temporarily suspends COVID-19 PCR testing for people traveling abroad
The Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) has temporarily halted the provision of COVID-19 PCR swabs for people traveling abroad.
This service will only be provided by certain private health care facilities. In a post on its Twitter page, the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has shared a list of these private health centers.

According to MoPH, the PHCC teams at health centers are among those leading the National COVID-19 Vaccination Program and the staff has been working tirelessly to provide COVID-19 swabs for people showing signs and symptoms of the virus.
The decision has been taken to help these teams focus more on offering services to people with COVID-19 and those being vaccinated.
"When the second wave is suppressed and pressure is eased on PHCC healthcare teams, this important service will resume at primary health centers," according to MoPH.

Nice Move from MOPH and it is indeed to utilize the source for Vaccinating the people. same time an announcement from private Hospitals with a very minimum PCR test charge should have been a great relief for the travellers.
