Msheireb Properties announce Middle East’s first ‘Luxeclusive’ resort
With much more attention being given to healthy living, health and wellness has become a huge business around the world.
Keen to hop in on the bandwagon, Qatar’s Msheireb Properties has announced the development of a new ‘wellness landmark,’ called the Zulal Wellness Resort, reported Gulf Times.
Zulal is an Arabic word, which means ‘pure natural water,’ and is used to reflect the rejuvenating properties of the natural water found in the desert.
The resort, which is set to come up at Khasooma on the northern tip of Qatar, lies 120km away from Doha. The project, once completed, will be the country’s largest wellness destination and the Middle East’s first wellbeing resort.
The ‘Luxeclusive’ resort, set over 28 hectares in a private coastal area, will bring health wisdom from across the world together with traditional Arabic and Islamic wellness principles, reported The Peninsula.
At the heart of Zulal Wellness Resort’s therapeutic and lifestyle enhancement regimens are a finely prescribed approach to medicine based upon Hakim Ibn Sina’s philosophy of health and longevity. Herbs and ingredients that are indigenous to Qatar and the region will be used at the resort.
Zulal Wellness Resort will offer 60 rooms, while its adjacent Family Wellness Resort boasts 120 spacious rooms with shared facilities that can be accessed by both venues.
Zulal Family Wellness Resort enables families to enjoy positive wellbeing experiences together. The resort’s carefully-crafted daily activity program enables health and fitness to become a family agenda that is incorporated into their everyday lives, reported Qatar News Agency.
