WATCH: MOI starts using robots to patrol 'public gathering' violations
The Ministry of Interior (MOI) continues to make great strides in public awareness.
MOI started using "Al-Asas" security robots to educate the community on the importance of preventing gatherings to reduce the spread of novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
It has a facial recognition feature that can be used to find those who are supposed to be quarantined and report them back to the National Command Centre (NCC).
Recently, MOI initiated an awareness campaign by using drones. The drone will broadcast awareness messages through a loudspeaker in different parts of Qatar in order to urge people to stay at home and avoid public gatherings.

The Ministry of Interior (MOI) also launched a dedicated hotline for complaints regarding quarantine.
On its official Twitter page, MOI said the hotline 44579999 can be used by citizens and residents "to submit queries and complaints about quarantine (hotels - homes) and to report cases of non-compliance with health and security guidelines for the prevention of COVID-19."
Here's everything you need to know about the virus, including ways to protect yourself.
