
MOI, PHCC announces working hours during Ramadan

The Ministry of Interior (MoI) has announced the working hours of its various departments during Ramadan.
The Traffic Department and its various branches will work in two shifts –8am to 1pm and 9pm to 1am.
Technical inspection centres of the department will remain open from 8am to 1pm and from 8.30pm to 11pm, while the number-plate workshop will function from 8am to 1pm and from 9pm to 1am.
The Criminal Evidence and Information Department and its branches will remain open from 8am to 1pm and from 1pm to 5.30pm.
Meanwhile, the General Directorate of Nationality, Borders and Expatriate Affairs and its branches will function from 8am to 1pm and from 1pm to 5.30pm.
However, the different security departments of the MoI will work round the clock.
The Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) also announced its working hours during the holy month.
The official working hours at the PHCC’s headquarters will be from 8am to 1pm, Sunday to Thursday.
Health centres at Al Rayyan, Madinat Khalifa, Al Muntazah, Umm Ghuwailina, Abu Bakr Al Siddiq, Omar Bin Al Khattab, West Bay and Rawdat Al Khail will operate from 8am to 1pm and from 4pm to 1am, including Fridays and Saturdays.
Dental services will be provided from 8am to 1pm and from 4pm to 1am. On Fridays, these services will be offered only in the evening — from 8pm until 1am — while on Saturday these can be availed of from 8am to 1pm and from 8pm to 1am.
The Airport Health Centre will be operational from 8am to 1pm in the morning and from 8pm to 1am in evening (including Fridays and Saturdays). Dental services at the centre will be available from 8am to 1pm and from 8pm to 1am (including Saturdays). On Fridays, there will only be one evening shift.
During Ramadan, the Leabaib Health Centre will operate from 8am to 1pm and from 8pm to 1am. On Fridays, it will function only in the evening. Dental services will be available from 8am to 1pm and from 8pm to 1am throughout the week.
The Al Khor Health Centre, meanwhile, will remain open from 8am to 1pm and from 4pm to 1am throughout the week. Dental services will be offered from 8am to 1pm and from 4pm to 1am (Saturdays only).
The Al Wakrah Health Centre will function from 8am to 1am throughout the week, while dental services will be available from 8am to 1pm and from 8pm to 1am, including on Saturdays. Only the evening shift will function on Fridays.
The Mesaimeer Health Centre will work from 8am to 1pm and from 8pm to 1am. Only the evening shift will function on Fridays. Dental services will be available at same hours except on Saturdays and Fridays.
Health and dental services at the Al Thumama, Al Gharafa, Abu Nakhla, Umm Salal and Daayen health centres will be available from 8am to 1pm and from 8pm to 1am - Sunday to Thursday. They will remain closed on Fridays and Saturdays.
