Met department predicts more rain today, cold spell next week
If you are enjoying the rains in Qatar, then there is a good chance that the good times will get extended today as well.
Qatar’s Met department has said that Friday will see incessant thunderstorms and that there will be another cold spell starting tomorrow, reported Gulf Times.
The Met department has warned that a Siberian high-pressure system will start affecting the country from tomorrow early morning and will be accompanied by ‘northwesterly fresh to strong winds over all areas.’ There will be a significant drop in temperature as a result, said the alert.
In Doha, the maximum temperature is expected to range between 17C and 20C and the minimum between 10C and 13C. It is likely to be a lot cooler in places outside city limits.
Strong, chilly winds are going to make you feel colder than it actually is.
The country continued to be affected by a state of instability due to a low-pressure trough, and it is expected to peak until today evening.
Hazy and cloudy conditions are also expected in both inshore and offshore areas today.
Please be careful out there.
We must all take care .. we don't usually get such extremes in other parts of the world
