A detailed list of the IndiGo flight schedule has been published by The Peninsula. According to the newspaper, the Delhi-Doha flight (6E-1701) will depart Delhi at 1.30 and arrive in the Qatari capital at 03.30. One way fare on the flight will begin at QR1,012 excluding airport charges and taxes.
The Doha-Delhi flight (6E-1702) will depart at 13.30 and arrive at 20.00.
The Mumbai-Doha flight (6E-1708) will depart Mumbai at 11.20 and will arrive in Doha at 12.30 and one-way fare will start at QR803.
The Doha-Mumbai flight (6E-1709) will depart at 4.30 and will arrive in Mumbai at 10:20.
The airline’s website has already started taking reservation for the routes from May 5.
The new flights are expected to offer solace to thousands of Indian expatriates who travel home during summer. Many feel this will check the shooting up of fares to the sector especially during school holidays.
The addition of Doha to the IndiGo network makes the Qatari capital the seventh international — and 46th overall — destination of the carrier.
Doha is IndiGo’s fourth destination in the Middle East after Dubai, Muscat and Sharjah.
“Being an economic and cultural hub of Qatar, Doha attracts a lot of business and leisure tourists. Adding Doha on our network is in line with our growth strategy and more so for the Middle-East. We’re hopeful this daily service would prove popular with our flyers,” IndiGo President Aditya Ghosh told India’s Economic Times.
