Indian aviation minister says no proposal from Qatar Airways for domestic airline yet

A lot of interest had been generated when Qatar Airways CEO Akbar Al Baker recently announced that they were planning to make a foray into the Indian aviation scene with the launch of a 100% owned domestic airline.

The move, which was requested by India's aviation ministry in the first place, was enthusiastically taken up by travellers, but garnered a lot of opposition from the Federation of Indian Airlines, made up of major domestic players like SpiceJet and IndiGo.

However, since then, nothing much has been heard about Qatar Airways plans. Now, Indian Civil Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju has said that the Ministry has not yet received any proposal from Qatar Airways for setting up the domestic airline, reported Hindu Business Line.

When Qatar launched the airlines, it is expected to be in partnership with the Qatar Investment Fund. Watch this space for further developments.

I would say that you should take the earlier flight from Dublin at 9:50. Domestic flights are generally on time as they fly more often, and if you were to miss the connection, then you could always get bumped onto the later flight (but this would most probably incur more fees). The only difficulty I can foresee, is that you are not flying the same airline the whole way, as if you were to be, there would be no issues. Because of this, you wouldn't be able to be issued with tickets all the way to London - which by personal experience, Write My Paper For Me & I know you need a LOT of time in. I just recently had an experience where I had to transfer domestically in New Zealand from Christchurch to Wellington, and then onto Melbourne Australia. I had 1 hour to make the connection, which I made with no issues in 40 minutes..then again the airport was a lot smaller.
