HH The Emir visits jewellery and watches exhibition which opened yesterday

HH The Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani visited the 15th Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition, which opened at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre yesterday.

Touring the pavilions, HH The Emir saw the latest designs of jewellery, watches and precious gemstones manufactured by companies based in Qatar and abroad, reported Gulf Times.

HH the Emir also toured the pavilion of female Qatari jewellery designers to support and encourage Qatari talents in this field, reported Qatar Tribune.

Meanwhile, the first Watches and Jewellery Forum focused on roles played by designers and shed light on the jewellery and gemstone industry from local and international perspectives.
More than 100 participants, in addition to VIPs and international experts hosting the sessions, attended the forum, according to The Peninsula.

Designers and experts discussed the latest trends and preferences of consumers, each acting as inspiration for jewellery designers in the region and the industry’s future road map.
