HH The Amir meets Iraqi president at Amiri Diwan, hold talks to enhance ties
HH The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met Iraqi President Dr Barham Salih at the Amiri Diwan yesterday.
The two leaders held extensive talks about ways to enhance ties between the two nations and co-operate in different fields, reported Gulf Times.
During the talks, the two sides discussed ways of boosting ties in different fields including economy, trade, investment, infrastructure, tourism and the reconstruction of Iraq.
HH the Amir hosted today a luncheon banquet in honor of the President of the Republic of Iraq and the delegation accompanying him, at the Amiri Diwan. #QNA
The two leaders also exchanged views on some regional and international issues of common concern, according to The Peninsula.
The Iraqi president invited HH The Amir to his country, which the leader graciously accepted.
Earlier upon arrival at the Amiri Diwan, the Iraqi president was accorded an official reception ceremony.
The Amir hosted a luncheon banquet in honour of the Iraqi President and the delegation accompanying him at the Amiri Diwan, reported Qatar Tribune.
The Iraqi president completed his state visited and returned yesterday.
