Heavy rains lash Northern parts of Qatar, floods reported in some areas

It seems that after a long wait, the rains are upon Doha with a vengeance. It has been reported that the north of Doha is experiencing heavy rains, with unconfirmed reports of floods happening.

It is understood that it is raining heavily in areas like Al Kharaitiyat.

The Qatar meteorological department tweeted out that thundery rain and strong winds are heading towards the central regions.

It lashed the southern parts too, for a couple of minutes...it didn't even spare the first floor dwellers...wind was such that the water poured in to my room...
