
Global Judicial Integrity Network meeting starts in Doha

Adding to the series of prestigious international events in Qatar, the country is currently hosting the second high-level Global Judicial Integrity Network meeting.
Being held under the patronage of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the meeting kicked off today at the Sheraton Doha Hotel bringing together judicial entities, councils, and courts from various countries across the globe.
His Excellency Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani graced the opening session today.

HE Speaker of the Shura Council Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid Al Mahmoud, several of Their Excellencies sheikhs, ministers and senior officials were also present on the occasion.
Held under the banner "Past, Present, Future," and hosted by the Supreme Judiciary Council (SJC), the meeting seeks to highlight the network’s achievements since it was formed and gauge its performance between its first and second meeting.

The prestigious event also sees the attendance of UN officials, chief justices, heads of judicial councils and other attendees review challenges pertaining to judicial integrity and experiences of courts across the globe.
The event will conclude on Thursday, February 27.
