Four women arrested over theft in Qatar

The Facebook page of the Ministry of Interior, Qatar has reported that 4 women have been arrested on charges of theft.

These women have been breaking into residential flats and have stolen a lot of jewelry.

The Police has recovered large amounts of jewelry and currency from them.

Many complaints regarding lost jewelry and money have been sent to the concerned department. The investigation department when collecting information regarding this, has got to know about a group of women who have been breaking the locks of flats and entering them in order to rob.

The Facebook post goes on explaining that after receiving the necessary permission and in the presence of women police the suspects have been arrested, while they were trying to hide all the stolen jewelry.

They also report that, “Large amount of different currencies were also found with one lady”

While reporting that the stolen goods have been seized by the Police, the MoI Facebook page continues to say that “the suspected were referred to the concerned authorities to complete investigation and forward to the concerned judicial authorities”.
