Expect more rain today in parts of Qatar

Some parts of the country received scattered rains last evening. The Meteorology Department has forecast more rains today.

"Thunderstorms are expected at places, accompanied by strong winds and poor visibility," the department said yesterday.

Temperature in Doha will be between 18 and 24 degrees Celsius while it could dip to 14 degrees Celsius in the outer areas.

The northwesterly winds would blow at speeds ranging from three to 12 knots in the early part of the day.

The winds would gather momentum by evening with a speed of 16 to 22 knots reaching 30 knots at places. [Qatar Meteorology Department]
