Eid holidays will be much more windy and hot
By Qatar Living •
Eid holidays are expected to be hotter with the Meteorology Department forecasting a rise in temperature from tomorrow until Monday, hitting a maximum of 43-46 degrees Celsius during the peak hours.
This increase has been attributed to the impact of a low pressure associated the Indian monsoon which comes with the northwesterly winds.
Strong dust winds are expected on Thursday, Friday and Saturday with speeds ranging between 8-18 KT reaching 28 KT in some places.
Starting Sunday, the wind speed will decrease changing direction from northwesterly to northeasterly.
