Cirque Le Noir to entertain Doha in April
Cirque Le Noir, a popular globe-trotting circus, will perform in Qatar for the very first time. The event which will be held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC) is all set to wow the audience this April.
Cirque Le Noir (The dark side of cirque) will have an impressive lineup of acts including spinning metal wheels, acrobatic stunts 30 ft. high, jaw-dropping spins on roller-skates and the Columbian Wheel of Death, “performed in a 360-degree custom-built stage setting, bringing the audience closer to performers like never before”, reports The Peninsula.
The famed Wheel of Death is believed to be the most dangerous circus act of all time, with two performers performing high above the audience in and on a spinning wheel.
“It is an electrifying show for the whole family that has thrilled audiences all around the world. It is visually spectacular, breathtaking and it will definitely leave you mesmerized,” said Tareq Abuissa, Chief Executive Officer, Tape Events, an event management company in the GCC.
He further continued that, “The performers comprise of award-winning athletes. Guided by impeccable spatial awareness, balance and stamina, each performer contributes to the unreal atmosphere as they glide through the air, swinging through a blur of hands and feet. Le Noir has been a sellout show in major cities such as Auckland, Christchurch, Sydney and Singapore.”
The circus also features comedians, special performances, musicians, and acrobats etc. who are fixed on making the event a magical one.
