Car dealers fail to remove cars from public spaces

Most second-hand car dealers have failed to meet the deadline for removing cars parked in public places.
Hamad Misfar Al Qahtani, director of the Monitoring Unit in Al Rayyan municipality said most second-hand car dealers had not met the deadline given to them to remove their cars from public places. The deadline was Thursday.
The municipality had planned to start a campaign to remove cars parked in public places. The car dealers had requested the authorities not to start the campaign during Ramadan.
Accepting their request, the municipality had decided to start the campaign after Eid Al Fitr. During the campaign, many cars were found parked in public places and just a few car dealers had removed their cars, Al Watan reported.
The dealers said that they were forced to park their cars in public areas because of lack of space in their showrooms. They said they could not afford large showrooms because the rents were very high.
Municipality should charge them rent let both sides benefit from the situation .......
Just tow them away!
Don't buy the cars if you don't have the space. Pretty simple.
