Cabinet praises HH the Amir’s vision; welcomes outcomes of GCC Summit
At its regular meeting, chaired by His Excellency the Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, the Cabinet welcomed the outcomes of the 41st session of the Supreme Council of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC), held on Tuesday in Saudi Arabia.
The historic summit saw leaders of the Gulf states involved in the Gulf crisis come together, putting differences aside and pledging to restore relations for the stability, security and unity of the Gulf region.
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani led Qatar's delegation to the summit.
The leaders signed a “solidarity and stability” deal seeking to strengthen diplomatic ties.
At the meeting of the Council of Ministers yesterday, the Cabinet affirmed that the Al-Ula summit, with its fraternal spirit, the positive steps that were taken before it, and all that the final Declaration comprised, paves the path for a new phase in joint work and Gulf cooperation.
It also establishes a new phase in solidarity, mutual understanding, mutual trust, mutual respect, and institutional work to achieve the Council' goals, and to meet the aspirations and aspirations of its people, the Cabinet said.

The Cabinet also hailed the vision of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, his brother the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Mohamed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud, which was instrumental in the success of the summit.
The Cabinet expressed great appreciation to fruitful efforts exerted by HH the late Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and continued by HH the Amir of Kuwait for the sake of the unity and cohesion of the Gulf, besides efforts of the United States of America. #QNA
