Build Your House 2020 Exhibition opens

The inaugural edition of Build Your House 2020 Exhibition kicked off on March 2, 2020. 

Created in Qatar and designed especially for the local market, BYH 2020, is a first-of-its-kind exhibition to feature house-building solutions.

The event focuses on assisting Qatari nationals to understand the processes and procedures involved in building a personal residence.

According to the organizers, the exhibition has witnessed a tremendous pre-event response from exhibitors and participants set to take part in the significant event. 

The three-day event, held under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah Bin Nasser Bin Khalifa Al Thani, Prime Minister and the Minister of Interior, will run from March 2 to 4, 2020, at the Qatar National Convention Center (QNCC).

Several ministries and government entities have supported the exhibition that will shine a spotlight on the latest technologies and materials used in building, architecture, and interior designs.

Visitors to the exhibition will have the opportunity to learn about trends in the housing sector, the process of qualified contractors, consultants, and suppliers, and smart methods to build cost-effective housing.

In addition to this, the exhibition will feature free workshops and seminars led by over 30 consultants from private and government sectors. 

“The workshops and seminars are one of the biggest highlights of Build Your House 2020 and they offer information on everything from laws and building process to designs and trends,” said Rawad Sleem Managing Director of NeXTfairs, the organizer of this innovative event.

The expo will be a must-visit destination for all local homebuilders, solution providers and everyone who wishes to gain a wealth of knowledge and inspiration in this area.

Consultants, contractors, and suppliers can capitalize on the chance to meet new clients, network with peers, and gain further cultural knowledge.

Attendees can expect to know more about arranging the finances for their dream projects, renovation permits, and legal constraints, ‘Made in Qatar’ initiatives, MEC E-Services, and the ease of doing business in Qatar.

Further topics include Sustainability in the Qatar Construction Industry, Project Management and Construction Timelines and Interior Design Trends.

Build Your House 2020 Exhibition will be open to the public daily from 10 am to 8 pm.
