BEDAYA, Lulu conducts informative workshops about retail platforms

Bedaya Center for Entrepreneurship and Career Development (Bedaya Center), a joint initiative by Qatar Development Bank and Silatech, concluded a series of informative workshops conducted in collaboration with Lulu Hypermarket.
The workshops were conducted as a part of Bedaya’s Foundation Program for 2020 to help entrepreneurs in order to enhance and develop their businesses and educate them about the requirements needed for their participation at major retail stores.
These workshops come under the center's efforts to spread the culture and concept of entrepreneurship and enhance the role of youth in society.
In line with preventive and precautionary measures that are being taken to limit the spread of the Coronavirus, the workshops were live-streamed via “ZOOM” over a period of three days.
During the workshops, attendees listened to a detailed explanation about the preparations and industrial standards they should be familiar with to facilitate cooperation with Lulu Hypermarket that will subsequently enable them to display their products and market them in the best possible way.
During the first workshop, the center’s coaches and advisors shed light on the concept of developing projects through the presence of their products in major retail outlets, along with the right mechanism for obtaining licenses, and the logistics that must be provided by entrepreneurs.
In addition, the coaches also briefed the attendees on topics such as hygiene, sterilization, maintenance, components and the products’ materials.
