If you are a skating enthusiast and enjoy taking the skateboard to the Al Bidda Park once in a while, then you should definitely check out the new skate park that has opened at the Qatar Foundation recently.
The skate park, which is located at the West Green Spine in Education City, is a joint venture with QSports, reported Gulf Times.
The new skate park features a range of ramps, rails, and bowls, and is tailor-made for skateboarders, BMX riders and rollerbladers.
If you love skateboarding, but have no idea how to do it without grazing your knees, then do not fret. You can rent training equipment at the park and take classes from experienced on-site trainers, according to Qatar Tribune.
The park, which is open to the public, provides an exciting new avenue for community engagement. It also encourages members of the community to adopt active lifestyles.
The park will remain open seven days a week, between 6am and 9.45pm. Visitors who wish to go to the skate park can use Academy Parking inside Gate 1, Education City.
