
Amiri Naval Forces conclude the ‘Qatar Falcon’ Exercise

A joint military exercise campaign — 2018 Qatar Falcon — carried out by the Amiri Naval Forces and the British Royal Marines, concluded in the country yesterday.
Qatar’s Directorate of Defence Communications said the joint exercise was part of a series of exercises that aimed at gaining experience, exchange of information and learning about modern methods of warfare and introduction of latest defence technologies, reported Gulf Times.
British landing ship RFA Lyme Bay visited Qatar as part of the exercises.
The closing ceremony of the joint exercise was attended by Commander of the Amiri Naval Forces Rear Admiral HE Abdullah Hassan Al Sulaiti and the UK Ambassador to Qatar HE Ajay Sharma, according to Qatar Tribune.
