Arabic and Islamic education now compulsory subjects in private schools: MoEHE
The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) has issued the academic policy for the new academic year, making Arabic, Islamic education, and Qatari history compulsory subjects in private schools and kindergartens.
Moreover, the current academic policy is an update of the previous policy issued for the year 2019-2020.
The need to promote the national identity and religious values of children in private schools and kindergarten has led to developments in the academic policy.

Great step indeed. Currently I have to get separate education for my children to learn Arabic, This will help a lot for the non Arab (like my) children to learn about Arabic as well as Muslim culture which will eventually help them to mix with local community.
A great step by MOEHE thanks to Qatar government giving us this apporunity to our children.
In all countries, France, Italy, germany, America, Russia, Japan etc it is mandatory to learn & talk in their national language you can not skip from it but in gulf countries it was not mandatory thanks Qatar giving us apporunity to learn Arabic making it mandatory.
(MoEHE) has issued the academic policy for the current year!!
How it is for the current year is almost finishing in 3 weeks???
Islamic education mandatory for non-Muslim students ???????
