Shipping to Qatar

Hey everyone!

I'm moving to Qatar on 3rd August but I'm asking all of you who have already moved out there how you shipped your belongings? I have just been horrified by the expense of shipping even simple things like clothes over there in a few boxes!!

Does anyone have any tips on how to ship but with minimal cost??

Char, No need to carry that kind of stuff with you from anywhere to anywhere in the future. Leave the old belongings behind & buy new ones at your new destination. Be happy, go lucky. Welcome here, joys !

I moved to Qatar in November 2017 and just bought my regular luggage of 32 Kg. You don't need to carry lot of stuffs to Qatar as you can buy your stuffs at good prices. All you need to carry is at least three pairs of business suit and personal grooming stuffs. Rest you can go for a fully furnished apartment and you would just require to fill your closet. If not you can buy all household stuffs at half the price in Friday market. So don't stress too much in shipping your items.
