Coming to a movie theatre near you on March 10…
There are some huge movies releasing in Qatar this week. If you’ve been a fan of the Divergent series, then Allegiant, its third part, is definitely going to leave you happy.
There are a few other movies releasing as well, but strangely, Kung Fu Panda 3 is still not in theatres. Without further ado, Qatar Living presents the movies coming to a theatre near you this weekend. Happy viewing.
1. Allegiant
Starting off from where Insurgent ended, Tris (Shailene Woodley) and Four (Theo James) must escape and go beyond the wall enclosing Chicago. Once outside, shocking new truths are revealed and new battlefronts are opened. The duo should carefully consider who they can trust in the outside world. The Divergent saga continues.
2. Triple 9
This is a movie that is jam packed with talent and breakneck speed action. The Russian mob blackmails a crew of dirty cops to execute a daring robbery. The only way to do it is to manufacture a 999, the police code for ‘officer down.’ However, when the rookie cop who had been set up to die escapes and foils the attack, things reach breaking point.
3. Martyrs
Lucie, a 10-year-old girl escapes from an isolated warehouse where she had been kept prisoner. Traumatised, she continues to get nightmares on a daily basis. Anna, a girl her own age, consoles her. A decade later, she is still plagued by old memories. The duo goes in search of the family that tortured her. But things are not as easy as it looks.
4. The Other Side of the Door
A happy family undergoes a tragic accident and it leads to their son’s death. The grief-stricken mother hears about an ancient ritual which will bring back the deceased for a final wave goodbye. She goes to an ancient temple, which has a door that acts as a portal between two worlds. When she disobeys the rule to open the door, all hell breaks loose.
5. Puthiya Niyamam
Louis Pothen (Mammootty) is a divorce lawyer, TV pundit and film critic. He lives with his wife, Kathakali artist Vasuki Iyer (Nayantara), and a school-going daughter. The story speaks about an incident which turned Vasuki into an introverted person and how she gets over it.
True that, brit. I watch movies at home in bed.
WT: Here , going to cinema is a past time
Basically all of it is s.h.i.t.
