Arabic Clases: Berlitz or CHN

I am planning to enroll in an Arabic course. I would like to hear some experiences from people that had taken a course in either Berlitz or CHN. I would like to know how the classes are (interesting, bored, too simple, too complicated); Do you really learn? Do you recommend the school (Berlitz or CHN)?

Thanks

P.D. I know Berlitz is more expensive than CHN but I am not sure if it is worth the price. For that reason I would like to read your comments to compare both schools.

Hello People, i'm a student at berlitz, been there for two years, i have to say that the berlitz method is fantastic, not boring at all. the first few levels, you describe things that u see, the teacher asks you to introduce yourself, you talk about how u spend your days, it gets more complex as u move forward.

But i have to say that i had 4 different teachers, 2 were good 2 not so good, so it depends who u get, and the timing is flexible if you're taking private lessons. if u wanna ask me anything just email me at [email protected], coz i rarely check QL

hope i helped

Prices for Arabic level 1:

CHN: Course fee: QR1300 + Registration: QR80 = QR1380. Duration: 30 hours. Total two courses. More info: http://www.chninstitute.com/arabiccourses.htm

Berlitz: Course fee: QR2520 + Registration: QR150 + Book: QR400 = QR3070. Duration: 56 units of 45min = 42 hours. The registration fee is paid only once and the book is used for level 1 to level 4. For the next level you only have to pay: QR2520. Total: 8 levels

I think that Berlitz will start a level 1 course on June 23, 2009.
