Showcase your brightest inventions or ideas at KidzMondo Science & Business Fair
For the very first time, KidzMondo Doha is hosting Science & Business Fair on April 25, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
It is a one-of-a-kind engaging event powered by Qatar Development Bank in line with KidzMondo Doha’s educational core concept and initiatives.
The KidzMondo Science & Business Fair aims to showcase kids’ entrepreneurial passion by encouraging them to display their skills of creative thinking and innovation.
It is also meant to encourage kids’ up to 14 years old to get in tune with their entrepreneurial selves by presenting an invention or idea that they believe in.
They will have an opportunity to present their ideas individually or in a group, in front of a panel of expert judges from Qatar Development Bank. The judges will be engaging with the kids by discussing about their ideas and will test their conviction.
This intellectual contest holds a golden opportunity; the best ideas stand a chance to get funded, which means that the winner can become real KIDpreneurs and owners of their own business!
The pillars of ideas for this contest are creative gadgets & robots, best business ideas, and community improvement ideas.
The kids will be evaluated based on the following:
-Creativity aspect of the idea
-Innovation aspect of the idea
-Feasibility aspect of the idea
-Profitability aspect of the idea
-Research and Surveys regarding the idea
-Ability to explain and defend the idea
Giveaways and special prizes will be awarded to all participants along with special certification to mark their courage and sense of initiative. They will be presenting their ideas to the judges in front of their parents, friends, spectators, and media representatives at KidzMondo Amphitheatre.
This event is the culmination of a program ‘KIDpreneur Incubation Center’ launched in February, an entrepreneurial program for kids, ignited by KidzMondo Doha and powered by QDB, Injaz, HBKU, Sanea & Bedaya which provided expert mentoring to kids between of 8-14 years old.
The goal has always been to equip and empower children at KidzMondo with the tools to lead the future. KidzMondo Doha believes in the potential of kids and the need to inspire entrepreneurship at an early age.
Throughout this initiative, KidzMondo Doha seeks to empower its Kidizens with the knowledge & tools to take initiatives, make decisions, innovators, and entrepreneurs of tomorrow.
Kids can register for the fair by calling KidzMondo representatives and telling the subject of their idea. The representative will be shortlisting according to the pillars and criteria of the KidzMondo Science & Business Fair.
