Tap water Quality

I had installed Britanica water treatment plant in my flat connected to tap water. Was told it is much better & pure than the bottle water. Is this correct? Anybody else using the same? How can we have it tested?

There's absolutely nothing wrong with Qatar's water. I've been drinking it for nearly 4 years (unfiltered) and I have not had any problems.

Bottled water and filters are just a waste of money.

I dont understand how u could state a one product is better than other when all has to meet the drinking water specification to be marketed. It only that a few chemical content vary in the specified range that causes the taste difference .

It cost Qr.2500/- a year back. Not sure of the current cost. Was told no need to change any filters. Only cleaning every year is required that too if any problems.

I don't know how good is the britannica plant you installed but i can bet that Qatar's tap water is worst for drinking. I have met many people who suffer from skin dryness & hair loss just by taking shower from Qatar's great tap water.

This is new to me. How much did this cost? Is it required to change the filters often?
