How to switch to a different Health Center?

I recently moved to a different part of the city. Now the health center I am registered with is too far from my new home... Are we allowed to open a file at a different center? How can I do this?

I tried asking at the health center, but the receptionists don't speak much English. They just keep telling me that I'm not allowed to be treated there unless I have a file. :(

Thanks everybody. I'll try your suggestions and see which one works.

Ask your previous PHC to issue a transfer letter addressed to your newly PHC. The receptionist will issue an arabic transfer form and you will receive the pink slip for your file.

Show this pink slip to your new PHC, they will serve you.

At least that what we had experienced at our new PHC, airport.

Good Luck !

u don't really have to open a new account ..

Just go to the recent one from 7 am to 12 pm

take ur cards with u .. (ur card, wife, kids)

tell the receptionist that u want to transfere bcuz u changed ur accomodatoin .. they will make the transfer in 5 mins. and give u a paper ..

with that paper .. u can get treated in the new one near ur new home ..

I did it by my self and it won't take time .. better to take someone who can speak arabic with them .. cuz they know ZERO english ..
