ESPA Mondrian Doha reopens its doors with health and safety measures

Mondrian Doha announces the re-opening of ESPA, one of the most luxurious and largest spas in the Middle East, as part of the second part of phase 4 of the lifting of restrictions.

ESPA is set to offer its guests exclusive signature treatments and bespoke experiences that will rejuvenate your mind, body, and soul, and transport you on a journey to ultimate relaxation.

ESPA at Mondrian Doha delivers an unforgettable wellness experience. Shimmering mosaic walls lead guests to the 12 dedicated treatment rooms, a hidden garden, relaxation rooms, and traditional Turkish Hammam.  

Designed by internationally acclaimed Dutch designer, Marcel Wanders, ESPA at Mondrian Doha connects striking design elements with an unparalleled spa experience, uniting beauty, excitement, and exquisite luxury to engage all the senses. ESPA embodies the studio’s philosophy of bringing the human touch back to the design and offers guests an ideal space to unwind, to dream, and to get inspired.

Expectant mothers can indulge in exclusive signature treatments at ESPA with the Hydrotherm pre and post-natal treatments. These unique and thoughtful hydrotherm therapies are the most comfortable pre and post-pregnancy treatments in the world of well-being and take into consideration the different stages of pregnancy and beyond.

Female guests can enjoy the exclusive ladies' only area which creates a magical illusion of a secret garden exuding femininity. It has been designed with soft, warm tones and curved lines, along with golden and sparkling accents to create a space that is luxurious and peaceful and an ideal haven to enjoy the treatments at Mondrian Doha.

ESPA’S exclusive VIP package is also available for guests including access for two people to the VIP suite for three hours, with a full one-hour treatment per guest and a privatized VIP area for QAR 1200 per person.

The following safety measures will be put in place for the guests’ and staff’s utmost protection and wellbeing. Sanitization stations will be placed at the spa as well as the Fitness Center for both guests and staff use including sanitizing wipes, sanitized pens, hand sanitizers, gloves, and face masks. Furthermore, therapists will wear face shields during all facial treatments at ESPA and face masks at all times. All staff will undergo temperature checks during their service.

Social distancing markers will be placed leading up to the spa reception with a 2-meter distance between each. Disinfection of all retail areas, door handles, and common touchpoints will be carried out regularly during opening hours in addition to an intensive overnight sanitization operation.

To meet social distancing requirements, treatments and therapies will be available by appointment only. A pre-arrival advanced consultation form will be sent to all guests highlighting COVID-19 symptoms. Upon confirming appointments, a second symptom check will be scheduled.

Upon entry to ESPA, all guests must show their green Ehteraz App, and thermal screening of staff and customers will be undertaken as well.

Moreover, guests at ESPA must shower prior to their treatment, and following the treatments, only pre-packed food will be offered to guests. Water will be provided in bottles to be opened only by the guests. No towels or linens will be put on display and will be available upon request only.

At Mondrian’s Fitness Center, the Gym equipment will be positioned to ensure a 2-meter distance between each guest. Guests must also make bookings for the gym and are restricted to one-hour use only. Guests must also sign in before using the Gym facilities. Personal trainers will maintain social distancing and wear PPE at all times.

The Gym at Mondrian Doha is open daily from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm; the pool from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm; prior booking is required for both.

Furthermore, sun loungers at the pool area will be sanitized after each use, and signs will be placed to show it is ready for the next guest. Sun loungers will be arranged supporting a 2-meter distance between each guest once seated, and a maximum of 50% occupancy at the pool will be maintained.

Sauna and steam rooms as well as the Ice Fountain will remain closed until further notice.

ESPA will be open from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm from Tuesday to Sunday and closed on Monday.
