Hi to all,

We are going to visit Thailand-Malyasia and Singapore, can anybody tell me where it is better to exchange money, in Qatar or in respective countries itself, and how much amount I can carry with me is there any limitation for carrying cash?

The ideal thing to do would be to exchange some small amount in Qatar, say US$ 100 worth each local currency. You can get thai bhai, malaysian ringitt & Singapore dollars in Gulf Exchange. This amount should allow you to pay for taxis, contingencies etc. until you reach a local bank where the exchange rates are more than what you get in qatar.

credit cards are widely accepted and can be used to high value transactions.

Try the exchange houses. Carry some dollars

I usually have dollars and use Plastic for most all purchases, while travelling. Your transport wiil be able to best advice where it would be most beneficial to you to exchange your currency notes as some offer better exchange rates.

In Qatar. Singapore dollar should not be a problem, but Thai and Malaysia??
