LadyCharm, my son is turn 7 th. He dont go to nursery anymore. He is in year 2.

This thread is really old thread ...

However if you are in Doha, do get the Marhaba book from Carrefour, last time i bought is only QR 20.

The book listed nearly all the nursery in Doha. You will have to do some work and ring them around and ask the information you need.

Honestly, if you have split shift , me think you will have to hire full time maid.

My wife and children will be moving out to Doha, from Dubai to join me shortly. My daughter (8 years old) has just finished her Stage 2 (I think) ballet and is keen to continue. Does anyone know where she can continue with her weekly lessons and then complete her relevant stage exam (she has just had her exam and is awaiting her results in June). Thanks

I tried to get in touch with Katie Erasmus and Carmel Rankin to find out if anything was going on in town for pregnant woman and so that I could get the E Newsletter. Both ladies seem to have left Doha. Has anyone else taken on this newsletter?

Life only can be understood backwards, but must be live forward.

Gisella used some equipment to motivate the kids jumping and running. Then i think around 15 mins in the end of the session you climbed up on the gym equipment (kinda like soft play area).

My son only been there 3 times, so far he enjoyed it ... probably because one of his buddy in the same class with him.

Give it a go ... it is free of charge afterall ... cost nothing to try :-)

HI Novita,

Thanks for the info, my son is 22 months old. I'd like to give the gym club a try. The one near Landmark sounds ideal.I'll contact Gisella.

Thanks again

Hi Novita ...

thank u very much for the info...i've been in Doha for about a year & a half now...I was just able to put my son in a nursery for a couple of days a week so i think there's no need for the playgroups now... however, that gym class with Giselle sounds quite interesting, can you tell me more about how it works there? do the kids enjoy it, don't they get bored quickly?

by the way, the newsletter from Katie Eramus is very informative indeed.

hello ditto ... my son is now 4 yrs old. So i am no longer wondering around in this playgroup. I used to go the one in Ghanem Garden. They used to have monday aroun d 9.30 till finish for under 2, and on Wednesday for above 2years old. In Ghanem Garden u just go to the club house, pay 10 QR (if the price not changing) then just settle your little one with the toys. The 10 QR per visit will goes towards buying new toys for the playgroup.

Or you can try to go to Busy Bees ... i never try the one under 2, but i tried to take my son for 4 yrs old group. So far so good. Normally kids playing and moms will have a chat while watching their kiddies playing.

How long u been in Doha Ditto?

Alternatively u can try your little on with gym class. I took my son on Monday at 5pm for older kids, but at 4pm would be for younger one. You just call Gisella on her mobile and let her know that you are interested to put your kid to join with her class. Gisella doing her class near landmark ... in the arabic girl school (no idea what is call since i cant speak arabic)

xx
